START WITH OPERATIONS
Size the clear working space first.
List the largest equipment, vehicles, racks, units, animals or activities that must fit. Add operating clearance, turning room, safe aisles and future capacity. From there, work back to width, length, eave height, bay spacing and the frame system.

- Straight walls for full use of perimeter floor area
- Insulated roof and wall assemblies for temperature and condensation control
- Lean-tos, canopies and future endwall expansion where operations need them
